Phuket Town’s Hidden Restaurant You Should 100% Try When You’re In Thailand

It’s official, we’re completely in love with Suay Restaurant in Phuket Town, Thailand. heartheartheartheartheart

As much as this tropical country is amazing on so many levels, Thai restaurant scene is, very often, quite a struggle. Before bombarding us with upset comments and messages, hear me out – because of the infinite amounts of hungry tourists, a lot of businesses remain profitable regardless of the quality of their food or the level of their service. As a result, trying out a new restaurant is always a gamble in Thailand. Especially when it comes to fancy “tourist-trap” restaurants… most of the time, you’re better off picking up a nice Thai meal at a local food stand rather than heading to an air-conditioned over-priced “authentic Thai” restaurant.

But! There are always exceptions to the rule and Suay Restaurant is undoubtedly one of them. We are completely, undeniably, head over heels OBSESSED with Suay! Celebrity chef Tammasak Chootong a.k.a. Chef Noi (recently featured in Iron Chef Thailand) has mastered the art of combining traditional Thai dishes with an international twist.

Every single item on the menu will become your favorite! You know that feeling when you try something ridiculously delicious and then day-dream about that dish and crave it for days, weeks, months after? That’s what you get at Suay – you’ve been warned.
